The Investigation of the Effect of Montessori Approach-based STEM Activities on the Problem-solving Skills of Pre-service Preschool Teachers

This research was conducted to determine whether there is any effect of the Montessori approach-based STEM activities on development problem-solving skills pre-service preschool teachers or not. The mixed-method employed in research. sample consisted 50 teachers, who were taking education Preschool Teacher Training Department Faculty Education. A single grouped pretest-posttest pattern created difference quantitative data gathered during process analysed with statistical methods; qualitative content analysis. “Problem Solving Scale” and “Semi-structured Protocol Form” used collect Qualitative prepared support consists open-ended semi-structured protocol form. participants educated for 14 weeks. In results reached as a result research, it observed that significant between pre-test post-test scores analysis supported results.
